Training
Voluntary Action West Kent aims to provide high quality training that meets the needs of the voluntary and community sector
We are able to provide training specifically tailored to meet your needs.
Training can be delivered just for your organisation or you can share the course with another organisation to split the cost and improve working relationships.
Please see the list of open college network accredited level courses that we currently provide.
Our public autumn programme commencing in September will be available to groups over the coming weeks.
We have two new courses available to staff and volunteers of voluntary and community organisations.
New Courses:
PQASSO:
“Implementing PQASSO” This introductory course is designed to give you a good starting point for implementing PQASSO in your organisation. If you are taking the lead in quality this course is designed to ensure you have the relevant knowledge and skills to implement PQASSO within your organisation.
Certificate in Community Volunteering:
The Level 2 Certificate in Community Volunteering is accredited through ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network) and is a qualification that recognises the general skills and attributes that volunteers need to carry out their roles effectively. It encourages volunteers to reflect on and learn from their volunteering and also provides organisations that use volunteers with a means to quality assure the training and support that they provide.
There are five units at Level 2, volunteers need to complete 4 units to gain the full qualification.
