Office Services & Equipment Hire (printing, photocopying, fax) allows you to keep administrative costs to a minimum. Items for hire include an overhead projector, screen & flipchart. Rental is free for members or a small charge for non-members.

Bi-monthly Newsletter giving details of local and national issues and events, grant aid sources, fundraising hints and information on training opportunities. We are always happy to include advertisements in our newsletter, or to circulate information which you wish to pass on to the voluntary sector for information. Please contact us if you have an item to include or if you wish to use our Information board to pass information to local voluntary organisations and community groups.

Training Courses are available in a wide range of subjects tailored to the needs of the voluntary sector e.g. First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene. See our training pages for full details of our programme.
- Help in preparing Constitutions, registering as a Charity etc.is a basic service which we provide to new groups as well as comprehensive advice for more established organisations on the more complex matters of employing staff, health & Safety , managing premises etc.
- Funding Advice and Information is available to local groups and our Funder Finder database will target names of charitable trusts likely to support your project. We also have a model grant application as well as lots of hints on making successful applications, running fundraising events and a useful library of fundraising books.
- Networking and Representation between statutory and voluntary agencies in West Kent through Forums, meetings and personal contact. Voluntary Action West Kent convenes meetings of the West Kent Voluntary Sector Forum, the Sevenoaks Voluntary Sector Forum, PQASSO Quality Network and other meetings of appropriate organisations as needed.
