Partnership Working
VAWK adds value to the local voluntary and community sector, both by its involvement in strategic partnerships and by facilitating and supporting partnership working. By improving the flow of information, offering advice and brokerage, duplication of effort is reduced. Our capacity building activities, such as local training, enables groups to better influence and affect local decision making.
Our Partnership Protocols Toolkit has been extremely well received, locally, sub-regionally and nationally. As well as offering organisations a model partnership agreement which can be adapted for their own use, the toolkit offers a wealth of advice and guidance on partnership working. Kent County Council have commissioned us to use the toolkit with six embryonic multi-agency partnerships.
