Good Neighbourhood Project

The Good Neighbour Project Voluntary Association (Tunbridge Wells) is aimed at older people and has been set up to provide support to the needy in the community irrespective of religious affiliation, political persuasion, nationality, race, colour or sex.

It aims to be a ‘Good Neighbour’ to those people, within the Tunbridge Wells area, that would otherwise fall through the recognised gap of care that is currently being provided by Health or Social Care Professionals

With support from the local churches and individual Christians, it hopes to provide a voluntary spear head of practical help that will assist individuals to get “back on their feet”. In ways such as:

• Assisting with the Laundry
• Doing the Shopping
• Bringing companionship
• Being a listening ear
• And other such non-medical needs
