Voluntary Action Within Kent (VAWK), in partnership with Swale CVS and North West Kent CVS has developed three toolkits: Marketing, IT and Human Resources. VAWK has developed a Partnership Working Toolkit.   The work for all the toolkits was undertaken as part of the government funded Change Up initiative, funded by the Capacity Builders programme; a fund specifically for strengthening infrastructure services for front-line organisations.

The toolkits have been designed, and updated, to provide simple guides.  This is particularly the case in respect of the HR Toolkit. HR law changes rapidly and you must not regard the HR Toolkit as providing a definitive statement of the current law. The HR Toolkit is amended on a regular basis, but it is a guide not a textbook.
