Community groups can be helped from the earliest stages of setting up a new group to providing detailed advice for more established groups, or groups with organisational problems.
Our Community Development & Funding Officer can come to visit your group or you can come to the office for advice and help with the following:
Help with organising meetings and providing links to other groups
Drawing up a constitution suitable for your group
Information on how to register as a charity or company limited by guarantee
Helping to prepare applications for funding bids - and we can provide a model grant application that helps groups think through their project
Funder Finder computer searches to identify potential charities and trusts interested in your work
A comprehensive library of fundraising information and advice
Organising major events or functions and the various legal aspects involved
Advice and information on drawiing up a Business Plan, or other policy documents for your organisation
Networking with other organisations to form partnerships
